Support the Burr PTA - It's Easy!
Throughout the school year, the Burr PTA sponsors fundraising events to provide financial support for our enrichment programs as well as spirit events and aim to involve as many families as possible. We also offer several programs that require no work on the part of the PTA or parents and still raise funds for our school. Programs like the Direct Donation, BoxTops for Education, and Stop and Shop A+ for Schools do not involve any volunteer hours yet the PTA has been able to purchase SmartBoards, sports equipment and other tools for our children through these indirect fundraisers.
We hope that you join us in supporting the Burr PTA. Your generous donations are greatly appreciated and afford the Burr PTA the opportunity to offer great programs to the Burr community and our children.

Fundraising Initiatives:
Burr Spirit Wear, Family Fun Day & Bake Sale at FFD, On-line Gift
Wrap, Ice Cream Social, Plant Sale, Scholastic Book Fairs in Oct and
Mar, and Student Made Art. School pictures are also a fundraiser, but
support the town wide PTA Council.
Direct Donation
Many PTA members had expressed a desire to make a monetary contribution as a simple way to directly support the Burr PTA. We’ve listened and replaced our Fall Gift Wrap fundraiser with a Direct Appeal Campaign. We hope that this new fundraising program will help ease volunteer obligations, while maintaining our focus on curriculum enhancing programs and spirit building events. Stop & Shop A+ Program
Make sure you register your Stop & Shop card
with our Fundraising VP, Chris
Nightingale. If you’d like, it’s easy enough to do
it yourself online. Simply go to Stop
& Shop and enter your name and 13-digit card number. You will be prompted for Burr’s school
id – 07224. Easy as that!
Last year we bought enough groceries for Mr. Kass to buy a SMARTBoard! The program runs from early Oct through end of March. Cards numbers need to be re-registered with Stop & Shop every year. Click here for more info.
BoxTops for Education
Look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products and in almost every aisle of the grocery store. All you need to do is clip and send them in to our school’s Box Top coordinator (Simply label envelope or baggie "Box Tops" and hand in to classroom teacher. The collection bin is located near the front office.) Every Box Top equals easy money for our school! Box Tops for Education is not just a box top clipping program that earns money for Burr.
